Masala Biscuit Recipe
A simple recipe to make delicious biscuits with a twist. Utilising our Garam Masala Blend for a unique flavour. This creates a biscuit that has some sweetness but also a slightly savoury taste.
INGREDIENTS
115g Salted Butter- take out of fridge 15 mins before using to soften
85g Caster Sugar
85g Flour
1 Egg
85 Porridge Oats
Pinch Baking Powder
2 1/2 – 3 tsp Garam Masala blend (3 + tsp for more intense flavour)
INSTRUCTIONS
Turn on your oven to 210C
Put the butter and sugar into a food processor and blitz together until fully mixed and pale
Add the rest of the ingredients to the food processor and mix together
Turn the mixture out onto a lightly floured surface and with a rolling pin, roll out until around 1.5cm thick
Pick a biscuit cutter style and then cut out each individual biscuit
Place a sheet of baking parchment on to a baking tray, then carefully place each biscuit onto the parchment
Bake for 10-15 mins, keep checking around the 10 minute mark- you want them to go golden brown
