Take your curry game to a new level with this amazing South African Beef Curry Recipe. Combining our complex spice blend with minced beef, carrots, potatoes for a really wholesome dish.

INGREDIENTS
1 Onion finely chopped
2 tsp Freshly Spiced South African Spice Blend
1 Cinnamon Stick
500g Minced Beef
1 Red Chilli finely chopped ( can use a milder chilli to suit)
4 Garlic cloves crushed
2 cm Fresh Ginger grated
2 Large Carrots cut into 1cm pieces
2 Large Potatoes cut into 2cm cubes
150g Fresh Tomatoes
100ml Water
1 tsp Granulated Sugar
Salt to season
2 tsp Mango ChutneyHandful Fresh Coriander
Naan Bread to serve
Natural Yoghurt to serve
INSTRUCTIONS
Place a large saucepan on a medium heat and add the oil and fry for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the garlic, chilli and ginger, cook for a couple of minutes before adding in the Freshly Spiced South African Curry Blend, stir and add the minced beef. Brown the beef for a few minutes, then place in the potatoes, carrots and water, cover with a lid for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
In a food processor combine the fresh tomatoes, sugar, mango chutney, blitz to a smooth consistency but still with some texture to the tomatoes.
Add the blitzed ingredients to the saucepan and remove the lid, cook for a further 10- 15 minutes until the sauce has thickened, season with salt to taste and add the fresh coriander.
Serve with warm Naan bread and yoghurt
