Sweet Spiced Biscuit Recipe

A delicious spiced biscuit using our unique sweet spice blend, with a sweetness from brown sugar, hints of nutmeg, mace, cardamom, rose petals and more.

  1. 250g Butter
  2. 100g Caster Sugar
  3. 3 Tsp My Sweet Blend
  4. 1 Egg
  5. 300g Plain Flour
  1. Cream the butter in a mixer, add the sugar and beat until light and fluffy
  2. Add the egg and spice blend and mix
  3. Gradually add the flour and blend fully
  4. Form a ball with the mixture, cover with clingfilm and leave to chill for at least 1 hour or overnight
  5. Preheat oven to 180c/gas Mark 4
  6. Roll out the dough onto a lightly floured surface,roll out to your desired thickness (around .25cm)
  7. Use your favourite cutter and cut out your biscuits, place them on a baking tray
  8. Bake in the oven for 8-12 minutes until golden.
  9. Remove to wire racks to cool
  1. Optional to add decorations or icing if desired when fully cooled
  2. Great with a cuppa

    These biscuits were so easy to make and they taste delicious. I’ve saved half the mixture my fridge to bake a fresh batch next week!
