Stir Fry’s are a great way to get loads of veggies in and keep your carbs low. We use our Five Spice Blend to add layers of spice without overpowering the fresh ingredients. Using prawns keeps it very high in protein and offers an alternative to chicken or red meat, also could be substituted for Quorn or Tofu.

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Serves 2

Ingredients:
250g Fresh or Cooked Prawns
1tsp Five Spice Blend
1 Onion, finely sliced
1cm Ginger, grated
1 Red pepper finely sliced
150g Beansprouts
1 Carrot sliced into thin batons

Fresh Noodles, We use Rice Noodles to keep it gluten free
Soy Sauce (again we use Gluten Free)
Sesame Seed Oil

Method:
Place a Wok or heavy Saucepan onto a high heat, add some groundnut oil
Once the pan is hot, add the onion and then ginger, cook for a couple of minutes
Add in the carrots, peppers, beansprouts and a dash of soy sauce
Leave for around a minute and then you can scatter in the Freshly Spiced Five Spice Blend, stir through
Add in the prawns, another few dashes of soy sauce and around 1 tsp of sesame oil
Cook for around 3-5 minutes until the prawns are cooked (depending on if you have fresh or cooked prawns)
Add in the noodles and stir through,
